Random status update

Dan snores.
My first Intro to Writing essay is due tomorrow, so I have been reading the Holt Handbook nonstop.
I received a 87 on my first CS exam. The class average was 85. Still, I am confident that if I had studied more I could have received a 95.
Latin is progressing nicely with the only except being that I am still having trouble memorizing all the declension charts.
If I get up at 7 A.M. my day runs nicely. The only problem with up early is getting to bed early, notice the date on this entry?

At the bluff

At the bluff all is peaceful.
All you can hear, except for a distant highway, are the sounds of nature.
The birds are singing, the bugs chirping, and the waves crashing.
Lake Michigan stretches away to the horizon.
Today the only way you can see the difference between the lake and the sky is by the ripples on the surface of the lake.
A wave crashes to shore.
All is calm.
The lake is before me, school behind me, and homework surrounding me.
It is nice here, away from the noises of the dorm, where the only reason why it does not sound like a war is because the noise is too rhythmic.
Time seems to slow at the bluff, far away from the disturbances of the dorm.
An ant runs across the screen of my iBook, perhaps the Apple tastes like an apple.
Now my writing warm-up is done.
It is time to get to work.

The times, they are a changing

Much has changed since my last post, so I will just recap the highlights:
  • Now a full time Mac user, I have a iBook that simply rocks
  • Done with 4-H, Yay!
  • Now a full time student at Concordia University Wisconsin
  • Still staying up way too late
  • Symantec's enterprise firewall & proxy server product is very annoying
