You know it's Friday when
Several odd things have happened today.
I could attribute the odd occurrences to people forgetting that April 1st was
yesterday. I could attribute it to being a really sunny day after a cold winter. Perhaps excitement over the President's
impending visit was responsible. All of these reasons are slightly plausible. I think that a much simpler event is the cause. It's Friday!
Ways you know it's a CUW Friday:
- People wander the halls carrying large wood crosses.
- The university president sends out confirmation that the announcement stating that president Bush is coming to commencement was not, in fact, an April 1st hoax.
- A number of students walk arm-in-arm down the hall after lunch singing Evanescence songs.
- Your coworker considers wearing a sword to work.
- The cafe is playing rave mixes, and people are bouncing along.
- Your Logic professor shows how to turn a not something-something intosomething-not something.
- The student newspaper has informative and relevant articles.
- There is a trail of paper feet throughout the campus.
